German Chancellor Angela Merkel is scheduled to travel to Russia on Tuesday to meet in Sochi with President Vladimir Putin.
The two will discuss the upcoming G20 summit in Berlin this summer, the war in Syria, the crisis in Ukraine and the tightening of relations between the two countries. This will be Merkel's first visit to Russia in two years.
