Rabbi Yisroel Shalom Yosef Friedman passes away

Rabbi Yisroel Shalom Yosef Friedman, head of the Ahavat Shalom hesder yeshiva in Netivot, passed away Monday at the age of 94.

The rabbi was a descendant of a family of hasidic rebbes and brother-in-law of the previous Rebbe of Vizhnitz.
