An Israeli diplomatic source says the executive board of the United Nations Educational Scientific and Cultural Organization "refuses to stop the politicization that is undermining the status of the organization."
Commenting on a decision to be accepted by UNESCO that states that Israel is not the sovereign in Jerusalem, the source said. "UNESCO is repeating the ritual of an anti-Israeli political decision that undermines any action Israel is making in Jerusalem, adopts past decisions that denied the Jewish connection to the city and recites political condemnations against Israel with regard to Gaza."
