A delegation from Washington, DC is expected to arrive in Israel today to make final preparations for the visit of President Donald Trump, which will apparently take place in May.

Chairman Marc Zell of the Republican Party in Israel told Israel Defense Forces Radio that Trump might participate in the Jerusalem Day celebrations in Israel. Zell claimed that Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu's request not to announce the passage of the embassy to Jerusalem "is still valid." Zell explained, "At the very beginning of his term, but for reasons that are understandable here in our region, they asked the president to wait, to go slowly, and that's what he is doing."
