Deputy Foreign Minister MK Tzipi Hotovely confirmed this evening that Israel is in talks with the White House concerning a visit by US President Donald Trump to Israel next month.
"We feel that we have a true friend in the White House. Regarding settlements, I just want to bring up the fact that it is 50 years since the Six Day War. 50 years of disagreements between Israeli and US governments. This is the first government that said, 'Settlements are not the obstacle to peace.' That was dramatic as far as we are concerned," she said in an interview with Army Radio.
