The Israeli delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe in France, headed by Member of Knesset Eli Elalouf (Kulanu), has managed to remove discussion of the Regulation Law for Jewish communities in Judea and Samaria from the council's agenda.
The discussion of the measure - which was passed in the Knesset a month and a half ago - was likely to deepen the European countries' preoccupation with the issue and to draw denunciation and harm to Israel's image.
