Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu highlighted the transition from the Holocaust to revival, from the people that was a driven leaf, helpless, to a sovereign people with a leadership role in the world.
Closing his address at the opening service of Holocaust Martyrs and Heroes Remembrance Day at the Yad Vashem Holocaust memorial institution in Jerusalem, Netanyahu said, "We moved from helplessness to power, from darkness to light, from death to life. From the bottom we ascended to peaks, in the words of the prophet Ezekiel in the vision of the dry bones. We have a tremendous vitality, a tremendous ability, a strong spirit. Together we put strength together with strength. Together we stand with G-d's help in every test. Together we will protect our home and together we will ensure the eternity of Israel!"
