Justice Minister Ayelet Shaked who is at present in Moscow met with her Russian counterpart Alexander Konovalov and with the Russian attorney-general. The minister discussed various extradition proceedings and emphasized the judicial cooperation between the countries. She also asked the Russian justice minister to do all he can to help return the remains of soldiers Hadar Goldin and Oron Shaul for burial in Israel.
Shaked also discussed the topic of combatting terror with the Russian ministers as well as the struggle against anti-Semitism. Shaked asked Russia to adopt the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA) working definition of antisemitism.
