Tens of thousands of worshipers are expected at the Western Wall of the Temple in Jerusalem, Thursday morning, to observe the traditional priestly blessing (birkat cohanim) on what is the first intermediate day of Passover for Jews visiting Israel from abroad. The main Shacharit morning service will begin at 8:45 AM, with its priestly blessing at about 9:30. The Mussaf additional service will start around 10:15 and with its priestly blessing at 10:30.

The public is asked to obey the instructions of the police, the security guards and the Western Wall ushers in order to preserve the safety of the visitors and the sanctity of the place.

The Old City is closed to private vehicles during the intermediate days of the holiday and the public is asked to use public transportation.
