Egyptian President Abdel Fattah As-Sisi has announced the deployment of military forces throughout the country following two terrorist attacks on Egyptian churches on Sunday.
The army announced that soldiers would defend "vital institutions" and would assist the civilian police in its operations. At least 43 people were killed after supporters of the Islamic State terror movement detonated explosives in two Coptic churches in the north of the country.
