In honor of the Passover holiday, 15 beaches on Lake Kinneret/the Sea of Galilee will be opened on Tuesday, where lifesaving services will be provided.
The Kinneret Authority and the Kinneret Association of Towns reported that this is an early opening of the swimming season in order to provide a response to the tens of thousands of vacationers expected to visit area beaches every day during Passover. The early opening was recently announced by Interior Minister Aryeh Deri, whose ministry oversees lifesaving services.
