Sentencing is scheduled, Sunday afternoon, for former Knesset member Basel Ghattas, on his guilty plea to charges stemming from his smuggling cellular telephones to security prisoners.
Hours before the decision, the judge asked the State Prosecutor's Office to clarify the plea bargain which was signed a month ago. According to the deal, Ghattas will be sentenced to two years in prison.
