Deputy Foreign Minister Tzipi Hotovely responded to the ramming attack at Ofra in which IDF soldier Elhai Taharlev was murdered.

"Elhai Taharlev is a great loss to the Jewish nation. We received another clear indication from the Palestinians before Pesach that they are not inclined towards peace. Our struggle against terror continues unfortunately even on the eve of Pesach as our enemies continue to attack innocent people," said Hotovely.

Hotovely who is personally acquainted with the family of the terror victim, described them as "purehearted", which is the English translation of their name "Taharlev."
