Interior Minister Aryeh Deri authorized the new visa guidelines between India and Israel. According to the guidelines, Israeli citizens wishing to travel to India for tourist or business purposes will receive an open visa allowing them multiple visits over a period of 5 years. Similar conditions will be granted to Indian citizens wishing to visit Israel.
