Investigators from the national unit for investigating prison guards have concluded that there is evidentiary basis for charges of negligence and forgery against jailers and soldiers involved in the throwing of a stun grenade during a demonstration drill that cost an Israel Defense Forces officer her eye, according to Kol Yisrael government radio.
The investigators questioned involved parties under the warning of prosecution. Investigator recommendations are expected to be submitted to prosecutors in the next few days.
