Explosions were heard overnight Wednesday near Hezbollah positions in the Qalamoun Mountains northeast of the Syrian capital Damascus, as well as in the Daraa area on the Syrian side of the Golan Heights, Sky News reported.
Arab media outlets had reported earlier that there were battles between rebel groups and the Syrian army in the Daraa area.
