Police Uncover Videocassette Pirating Lab Near Capital

(IsraelNN.com) Zevulun district police this morning discovered a laboratory that manufactured pirated videocassettes in the Arab village of A-Ram, bordering the northern capital.

2,500 videocassettes were confiscated during the raid as well as machines for duplicating tapes, wrapping and packaging apparatus, and other related adjuncts.

Three persons in the lab at the time of the raid were placed under arrest. Police estimate the lab was responsible for flooding the market with hundreds of thousands of pirated videos.
