Chairman Yair Lapid of the Yesh Atid party and former head police investigator Yoav Segalovich unveiled the party's seven-point plan against public corruption. The program, developed with Yesh Atid Members of Knesset Mickey Levy and Yaakov Perry, former Jerusalem police chief and head of the Shabak Israel Security Agency, respectively, focuses on what is currently defined as illegal, what Lapid called "legal" corruption and strengthening law enforcement.
Lapid said a change of government will be needed to implement the plan. He pointed at the fact that two serving ministers were convicted of corruption involving moral turpitude and Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu's position that he will not step down if indicted as a result of corruption investigations involving him.
