El Al's flight to Athens, which began heading toward the runway at Ben-Gurion International Airport, turned back due to concern that one of the pilots might exceed the maximum number of hours set down in flight regulations, according to Israel Defense Forces Radio.
El blamed the incident on human error in calculating the total flight time. The company sent for a replacement pilot.
