A three-judge panel of the Supreme Court has rejected a petition filed by Temple and Temple Mount activists demanding that the practice of a ceremony for offering the paschal lamb be held in the Davidson archaeological park next to the Temple Mount in Jerusalem's Old City.
The judges ruled that Jerusalem District Commander Yoram Halevy was within his authority last week, when he announced that he would not allow Temple Mount activists to hold the practice ceremony so close to the Temple Mount.
