Israel's Ambassador to the United Nations, Danny Danon, will convene a major summit at the UN on Wednesday, focused on combating the anti-Israel boycott movement. More than 2,000 influencers, pro-Israel activists, students and representatives from organizations who oppose boycott, divestment and sanction (BDS) of Israel are expected to partake in the event, which will constitute a remarkable show of support for the Jewish state at the UN.

Addressing the gathering in the UN General Assembly Hall will be US Ambassador to the UN, Nikki Haley, World Jewish Congress (WJC) President, Ambassador Ronald Lauder and Jewish Agency Chairman, Natan Sharansky. The full-day event will continue in the afternoon with sessions focusing on combating BDS on campuses, online and in the private sector.

Registration will open 8:30 am. The sessions will be streamed live at http://webtv.un.org/
