Members of the Fatah terror movement in Israeli prisons plan to commence a general hunger strike on "Palestinian Prisoner Day," which is to take place in another three weeks, according to Army Radio.
According to the report, the movement declared a number of demands from prison authorities, including increased visits, allowing the press to view prison cells, and the cancellation of administrative detention.
Those planning to strike are also demanding the installation of public telephones for their use, and the cancellation of the prohibition imposed by the government on academic studies.
