Yossi Dagan, head of the Shomron Regional Council, on Thursday welcomed the appointment of David Friedman as the United States ambassador to Israel.
“This is excellent news for the State of Israel. Friedman is a true friend of Israel, and I am certain that he will act in the common interests of the United States and Israel, all while sympathizing with the settlement enterprise in Judea and Samaria, as he did until today,” Dagan said.
