Rabbi David Stigman, a 67-year-old Chabad Hasid from Brooklyn, passed away suddenly on Wednesday during his stay near Milan in northern Italy.
ZAKA's representatives in the country are currently working to release his body and prevent an autopsy. They have transferred medical documents indicating that he suffered from heart disease, and that the incident was not criminal.
