The Knesset approved in second and third readings a bill proposed by MK Yael German (Yesh Atid) limiting the ability of a convicted sex offender to return to areas frequented by the victim.

The Law establishes that the court is eligible to impose limitations on the proximity of the place of residence or work of the sex offender to the place of residence or work of the victim. It suggests widening the scope of the arrangement to establishing that the court is eligible to establish limitations on the proximity of the offender's place of residence, work, or studies to the victim's educational institution.
