U.S. Defense Secretary James Mattis on Thursday met with his Saudi Arabian counterpart, Deputy Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
The Pentagon said the two discussed U.S.-Saudi military cooperation in the fight against Islamic State as well as "confronting Iran's destabilizing regional activities."
