Ilona Inbar Special Operations Division of the State Attorney's Office said, Thursday morning, that the office is closed to making a decisionon whether or not to prosecute the Lehava anti-assimilation group on incitement charges.
Responding to questions at a Knesset committee hearing on incitement and its treatment by relevant authorities, Inbar said, "The investigation has branched out into many cases and the scope of the material was big so the investigation took so long." Noting that some of the cases have been closed, the decision to prosecute is under serious consideration at senior levels of the prosecutor's office.
