Two residents of the Shuafat refugee camp in norther Jerusalem have been arrested for attacking and robbing a guard at a construction site at Independence Park last Saturday night.
They are suspected of stabbing the guard, stealing a ring and cash and fleeing by motorcycle. The suspects arrived at the checkpoint in the Shuafat refugee camp immediately after the robbery, when one was arrested one and the motorcyclist fled. The next day he was identified and arrested. A prosecution declaration to file indictments against the two will be filed on Thursday, along with a request for their detention until the end of proceedings.
