Over 2,000 fighters sent from Iran have died on the battlefield in Syira and Iraq, according to the Head of the veterans affairs office in Tehran.
"About 2,100 Shahids lost their lives up until now in Iraq and other places in defense of the holy sites," Mohammad Ali Shahidi said.
