Chairman Yoav Kisch of the Knesset House Committee threatened, Tuesday that he will no longer participate in plenary votes, due to what he calls the "attempts to thwart the Tender Years law," which would assign children in custody disputes to the most worthy parent instead of automatically assigning them to their mother.
"After a long delay, at the end of which we reached a coalition agreement regarding cancellation of the early-childhood presumption, the Jewish Home [party] continues to thwart promotion of my law, which received the support of the Ministerial Committee. As long as the Jewish home runs the coalition votes, I will not come to vote in the plenum."
