An illegal Arab road has been discovered in the three kilometers between the Hevron Hills Palestinian-Authority village of Yatta and "the smuggling route" that leads to Highway 31 in the Negev.
About half the new road passes over state land and a nature reserve. Authorities are looking for a vehicle which hit an offical who was probing the new road.
