The Knesset Health Committee held today a meeting about raising epilepsy awareness, within the framework of the Knesset's "epilepsy awareness day."
According to information collected by the Knesset's research center from 4 public health centers, there are currently 81,795 insured persons diagnosed with epilepsy.
Among those, about 20% are below the age of 18.
