From an investigation of the terror attack at the Kalandia Checkpoint it appears that a female Arab terrorist around the age of 20 arrived at the path for vehicles, while security officers working at the Checkpoint noticed her coming towards them carrying an object.
They called on her to stop. After she didn't listen to their repeated calls and continued her approach, holding all the while her purse in a suspicious manner, the forces shot the terrorist and neutralized her.
She was lightly wounded and an MDA medical team evacuated her to the hospital.
