The Economics Ministry asked on Monday that the closing of the ammonia tank in Haifa be delayed three months, according to Kol Yisrael government radio.
Ministry Executive Director Amit Lang warned that the closure of the tank would cause a fatal blow to Israeli industry. He noted that the fertilizer manufacturing industry is prepared to find foreign suppliers who will replace the services provided by the ammonia tank when the time comes.
