Justices of the Supreme Court are asking the state and Arab petitioners to respond by Wednesday to a petition filed by residents of the Samarian Jewish community of Ofra not to destroy nine houses as previously demanded in a court ruling but to seal them. The judges want to know whether the regulation law for Jewish communities in Judea and Samaria, recently passed by the Knesset, applies to the houses.
