Following negotiations that brought an end to sanctions by pilots, the management of El Al Israel Airlines issued a statement that said, "We welcome the understandings that govern the terms of retirement and employment of pilots aged 65 to 67."
The statement continued, "We also apologize to passengers who were adversely affected recently, and are confident that the company can be returned to normal."
