Finance Minister Moshe Kahlon and Housing Minister Yoav Galant announced on Tuesday that the Mechir Lemishtaken (Occupant's price) program of affordable housing for first-time homeowners will help solve the problems of public housing in Israel.
The ministers declared that five percent of the apartments to be built in any future project within the program will be allocated for public housing.
