The attorney general and the state prosecutor are scheduled to hold a pre-indictment hearing on Wednesday for Member of Knesset Basel Ghattas (Joint Arab List), suspected of trying to smuggle cellular telephones to terrorists being held at the Ketziot prison in southern Israel.
The attorney general has announced that he intends to file an indictment against Ghattas, subject to the outcome of the hearing.
