Hamas leader Moussa Abu-Marzouk reacted to the election of Gaza "Defense Minister" Yahya Sinwar as successor to Gaza leader Ismail Haniyeh by saying that the overall head of the organization should be someone from outside Gaza.
He cited Israel's blockade on the Hamas-ruled area and other reasons during a television interview.
