The Foreign Ministry has repeated its recommendation that Israeli citizens not travel to North Korea, which is under international sanctions.
Following reports that North Korea intends to make it easier for Israelis to enter its territory, the ministry stressed that "in light of the fact that Israel has no diplomatic relations with North Korea, in the event that an Israeli citizen will enter any kind of adversity during his stay there, Israeli representatives will not be able to help or give any response."
