Member of Knesset Yehuda Glick (Likud) said on Sunday that it is an honor for the state of Israel that former acting prime minister Tzipi Livni was considered by Secretary-General Antonio Guterres of the United Nations to be an undersecretary-general.
Writing on the Twitter social network, Glick said that if the nomination was dependent on the appointment of former Palestinian Authority prime minister Salam Fayyad to be the UN's new peace envoy to Libya, Livni should waive the nomination.
