FBI investigating JCC bomb threats as hate crime

The FBI is investigating the recent rash of bomb threats to Jewish community centers as a hate crime and not a terrorist threat, JTA reported Thursday.

The FBI launched a probe last week after 27 JCCs in 17 U.S. states reported receiving bomb threats in one day. A week prior, 16 Jewish community centers in nine states received similar threats.
