Fourteen indictments have been filed recently against haredi-religious demonstrators involved in violent disorders in Jerusalem and Beit Shemesh based on opposition to the induction yeshiva students into the Israel Defense Forces.
About 20 suspects have been arrested by Jerusalem police since the beginning of the month. Police have submitted requests to hold them in custody until the end of legal proceedings against them.
