Three Members of Knesset from the haredi-religious United Torah Judaism party have introduced a bill to exempt wine and grape juice from the current ban on the sale of alcohol after 11:00 pm. In order to prevent the measure from being abused, the exemption will only apply to stores measuring 200 square meters or more and not to kiosks, snack stands and other smaller outlets.
