A special military panel of three judges is scheduled to meet on Tuesday morning in Tel Aviv's Kirya Defense Ministry complex to approve the plea bargain reached between the military prosecution and suspended Brigadier General Ofek Buchris.
Under the agreement, Buchris not expected to be sent to prison and his rank will be reduced to colonel in exchange for his guilty plea on sex offenses.
