Interior Minister Aryeh Deri has signed regulations to raise the arnona (municipal property tax) discount for people with low incomes by five percent for 2017.
The discount will be on the basis of the last year's income and not just the last quarter, as in the past. On a temporary basis, applicants for the discount will have the option of either length of time.
