Major-General Eyal Zamir, who heads the Israel Defense Forces Southern Command, declared, Tuesday, that IDF soldiers are not afraid to strike at terrorists, following the manslaughter conviction of Elor Azariya for shooting a wounded attacker.
Zamir said that in dozens of other incidents, soldiers fired at terrorists and received full backing of the command echelon.
