Turkish Airlines has announced that Ataturk Airport in Istanbul is closed due to extreme weather conditions which include heavy snow.
The airline has canceled three flights which were supposed to leave Tel Aviv Monday evening and four more which were scheduled for Tuesday. Two flights which left Israel for Istanbul were diverted to the southern resort of Antalya.
