A survey published on Thursday by Yisrael Hayom shows 70 percent of Israelis support a pardon for Elor Azariya, who was convicted of manslaughter on Wednesday in the March shooting of a wounded terrorist.
19 percent opposed clemency while 11 percent did not know how to respond.
