Chairman Avraham Michaeli of the Shas Party faction in the Histadrut Labor Federation has announced that he is stepping down.
In a letter to party chairman Aryeh Deri and Histadrut Chairman Avi Nissenkorn, the former Knesset member cited health problems suffered by him and his wife, coupled with the efforts that would be needed for the upcoming Histadrut elections.
